Brandon Allen – President

Brandon became owner of Henry Drilling in 2013. He moved to Nashville after graduating from UT’s engineering program where saw the VOLS win a National Title in 1998. Prior to Henry Drilling, he became an expert in the geothermal market while working with Carrier Corporation. Brandon has a wife and 3 active children that occupy much of his time after work. He loves the opportunity to responsibly impact the growing issues for clean water and energy efficient HVAC solutions that greatly need addressed. Henry Drilling has been a blessing that have given full meaning to…. WATER = LIFE 

Matt Rohner - Operations Manager

Matt is our operations manager with a passion for efficiency and creative problem-solving. He is a proud father of four, Veteran, and lover of family adventures. Bringing extensive operational expertise, he is committed to enhancing and building Henry Drilling for the future. His focus centers on elevating customer experience, streamlining efficiency, and cultivating strong teamwork. Outside the office, you'll find Matt camping, tubing, and spending time at the lake with his crew. He believes balancing work and life is essential.

Jason Spitzley – Service Manager

As one of the longest tenured employees, Jason has been at Henry Drilling since 1997. He started out in the apprentice role, in the school of hard knocks and he gradually worked himself into a Service Manager position. Jason made stops as a service technician, geothermal installer, and pump installer along the way. He is here to help you with any of your water demands. Dan Rymer

Dan is our senior water well driller with a full drilling background having completed countless environmental, geothermal, and water well projects. Dan is our resident expert water dowser and heads up the entire water well drilling department. You know how dedicated and loyal of a man Dan is because he is a Buffalo Bills fan, and he has been since before Josh Allen!! Now that’s saying something. 

Austin Grezchowiak

Austin has been at Henry Drilling since 2015. Having completed several commercial projects and countless residential job Austin leads the geothermal installation team. He has the eye of an artist and his attention to detail is noticeable on his indoor piping & pump installations. Austin outwardly supports the St. Louis Cardinals and the Tennessee Vols with ink on his growing tattoo sleeve.

Freddie Lancaster

As our longest tenured employee, Freddie started with Henry Drilling in 1990. He is our senior geothermal driller and has more knowledge and experience on drilling in middle Tennessee then any driller in the nation. We are convinced Freddie knows everyone in the community, he is a world champion mule puller, the king of sweet foods, and he has a story for everything! Since his dad was an old cable tool driller, we can only guess how many miles Freddie has drilled over the decades, but we can always count on him to work solo or to learn the next young fella how to drill.

Johnny Law

As Franklin native, Johnny Law is a long timer who started in 2008. He got confused at some point and left but then came back for more. He has experience in Geothermal installation and Drilling. Johnny would also be considered our concrete advisor and our master operator. With two fresh knees he is always looking for a good foot race.

Drew Childress

Drew was born and raised in middle TN, and he is 38 years old. He and his wife Maureen have been married for 10 years and blessed with 2 children, Charlotte, 10 and Curtis, 7. When he’s not working, you’ll usually find Drew at a creek or river. He loves to fish, hike, camp, and explore. Drew has over 16 years in the industry. He started as a driller helper and then took over operating the drill rig after a year. Drew operated the drill rig and installed all the water pumps along with water filtration at Cothran Drilling until he moved to Henry Drilling in 2016 and has been here ever since. 

Daniel “OATMEAL” O’field

What good is a drilling business without a driller named Oatmeal? Always the comic relief but arguably the hardest working employee of the bunch. Oatmeal started with Henry in 2003. He quickly learned the ropes of operating a rig and has been getting footage ever since. He has completed countless geothermal drilling projects and has drilled from Ohio to Alabama. He has a super bougie wife that is trying to spend all his fishing money, so he works more hours than most. 

Tommy Schumaker

Moved to America from Austria to pursue his dreams of freedom. Met his wife Dannie and now has two beautiful children with her. He brought his family to Tennessee to raise his children in the country. He’s dedicated to work and family. When you are around Tommy, you quickly learn that he always finds the best in people and his situation. His hobbies include motorcycles, his kids, and being outdoors as much as possible. 

Chris Harper

Chris has been with Henry Drilling since 2007. Most of his time has been spent on the well pump and filtration side of the business. He is generally the first to sign up for overtime work which has allowed him the opportunity to gain experience in every facet of our business. If you see Chirs outside of working hours he will likely be spotted fishing or in the audience at a dirt track watching a race.
